Since 1995 Cheltec specialists have been designing equipment for production of sorbent agents, which would allow to absorb oil products in spill areas. There exists a number of sorbent agents, but at low weight they are rather massive and thus difficult to transport to the spill area. Cheltec intends to design equipment which will allow to produce sorbent agents at site from compact powder materials, which are easy to transport. Patent No. RU 2228401 C1.

The project implementation requires additional research and design of equipment for sorbent preparation and production.
